I’m a bad blogger.  I sit down to blog and I don’t really know what I want to blog about.  I’d make some bold statement like I’m going to blog once a week this year, but I’d just let myself down.  So I’ve decided to do the best I can.  I’m going to start posting more random thoughts so I can have a journal of these things to look back on…

I’m sitting here watching Conan.  I’ve never really got into him that much because he was always on too late.  He’s pretty funny though.  I think he’s seriously getting hosed by NBC.  Yeah, he’s getting a ton of money out of the deal, but none of those guys would trade places with him.  He’ll get another deal with FOX or somewhere else… NBC execs are stupid..

In other news, pitchers and catchers report in a little over a month.  Football season is winding down.  The worst time of year for sports is between the super bowl and opening day.  I think this will be the Cubs year though.

Those of you that know me well know that I’m a big Apple fan.  I was going to buy a bunch of Apple stock a couple years ago right after the iPHone came out. I talked myself out of it thinking they had topped out.  Boy was I wrong.  I think I’m going to go ahead and buy some even though it’s at a 52 week high because I believe in the company.  Sounds like some cool announcements coming next week about and Apple tablet and new version of the iPhone OS.

No mountains or beaches in Amarillo, but we can run with anyone on sunsets….
