Lauren called me a few months back after she came across my website. She was really excited about her wedding and photography was important to her. I think every photographer’s hope is that the photography is the most important part of the wedding planning for his clients. They got married at beautiful Starlight Canyon. Wow… This wedding came up so fast. I’ve spent the last few months getting to know Kelly & Regan and I’m really glad I can call them my friends. I had so much fun spending time with them and their families for their rehearsal dinner and wedding day. They are both really blessed to come from great families and you can just tell they have great examples to look to. Got a chance to meet Lauren & Casey this past weekend. I’m to shoot their wedding this August so we needed to get these engagement pictures done. Lauren said they are outdoorsy and Casey is a big hunter and had never been to Palo Duro Canyon so we decided to do them there. I thought we might be doing some of them in the rain but it held off and the weather turned out great. Here are a few of my favorites from the day.

Man…. I’ve know Blake since he was like 5 years old. Makes you feel old when you see these kids start to graduate. We had a chance to run around Amarillo to do his senior pics a couple of weeks ago. It was a lot of fun and we had good light all day. Here are some of the favorites.

Justin & Leslie are getting married this summer. They really wanted to do their engagement pictures at Texas Tech University since it’s been such a big part of their lives. It was kind of nice for me as well since I’m not in Lubbock that much. We spent an afternoon running around the Tech campus trying to stay out of the wind.
There are lots of architectural features and gardens so there was plenty of stuff to work with. Here are a few of my favorites from the day.
